2. Selection outcomes
Your child will find out whether they have been selected by Thursday, 4 September 2025. There are 3 possible outcomes and some students may receive offers from multiple schools:
Confirmed Offer |
Your child has a reserved place in the secondary school. To gain admission, your child will still need to:

Wait List |
Your child may be given a reserved place in the school if other students with confirmed offers did not take up the offer. Your child will still need to:
In previous years, about half of the students on the schools’ wait lists were eventually given a place. |
Unsuccessful |
Your child has not been given a place through the DSA-Sec, and must take part in S1 Posting, if eligible. |
Students with a confirmed offer or on a wait list will be able to submit up to 3 school preferences from 9am on Monday, 27 October 2025 to 3pm on Friday, 31 October 2025.
